Privacy policy

Who we are: Is There Asbestos? (https://isthereasbestos.co.uk) is operated by ARK MEDIA MARKETING (UK) LTD, the data controller for personal data collected through this site. A contact email for privacy requests will be published here shortly.

What we collect: when you submit a form we collect the details you enter (such as name, email, phone, postcode and your answers) plus basic technical data (such as your country, derived from your connection). Our tools run in your browser and we do not store tool answers unless you submit a form.

Why: to respond to your request and, where you have agreed, to pass your enquiry to a suitable provider so they can contact you with a quote. Our lawful bases are consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Who we share with: the provider(s) your enquiry is passed to, and our hosting provider (Cloudflare). We do not sell your data for marketing lists.

How long: enquiries are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.

Your rights: under UK GDPR you can ask for access, correction or deletion of your data and can withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies: we only use a necessary cookie to remember your cookie choices, and no analytics or marketing cookies unless you accept them. See our cookie policy.
